    Rudolph W. "Rudie" Kokaly, age 91, of Thorp, died at his residence on Sunday, May 6, 2007. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp. Fr. Keith Apfelbeck officiated and burial followed at Riverside Cemetery in Withee with military rites conducted by the Thorp American Legion Post #118. Visitation was held at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

    Rudolph William Kokaly was born on December 5, 1915 in Willard, WI (Township of Hendren) to Frank and Antonia (Krizmanic) Kokaly. He attended elementary school in the Willard area and graduated from Greenwood High School. Rudie was inducted into the U.S. Army on July 27, 1943 and served during WWII until his discharge on March 31, 1946. He was united in marriage to Stella J. (Vitort) Masik on February 11, 1956 at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp. Rudie worked for many years as a lineman for Dairyland Power Company until his retirement. Stella and Rudie celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 11, 2006. Stella died on April 20, 2006. He continued to reside in Thorp until the time of his death.

    He was a member of St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church, Thorp American Legion Post #118, was an active volunteer in the community, and had many interests, but especially enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and traveling.

    He is survived by two step-daughters: Carol Morin of Maplewood, MN and Bonnie (John) Mathwig of Bonita Springs, FL; five step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Ann Boh of Marshfield and Carolyn Feitl of LaGrange Park, IL; one brother-in-law, Lowell Brown of Eau Claire; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Stella; one step-grandson, Tim Morin; three sisters: Sylvia Boh, Mary Kokaly, and Matilda Brown; and five brothers: Frank Jr., Francis, Anton, Martin, and Darwin Kokaly.

    Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

    WILLARD -- Services for Mrs. Sylvia Boh, 63, Willard, who died Tuesday at Neillsville Memorial Home, will be Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard, the Rev. James Lesczynski. Friends may call at Rinka Funeral Home.

    The former Sylvia Kokaly was born November 8, 1917 in Willard, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Antonia) Kokaly. She was married to Daniel Boh January 16, 1943 in Willard.

    She was educated at North Willard School and attended Greenwood High School as well as a La Crosse business college. Before marriage, she worked for Clark Electric for a number of years.

    She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the KSKJ Slovanian Lodge.

    Survivors include one son, Daniel of Willard; one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Karen) Brux of Marshfield; four sisters, Mary Kokaly of Willard, Mrs. William (Ann) Boh of Greenwood; Mrs. Matilda Hardwig of Eau Claire and Mrs. Anton (Caroline) Feitl of LaGrange Park, Illinois; and two brothers, Rudy of Thorp and Darwin of Willard.

    She was predeceased by her parents and four brothers.

    Pallbearers will be Larry Boh, William and Darwin Kokaly, Dale Brux, Anton Feitl and Kenneth Horn Jr.

    ANN H. BOH, age 96,of Marshfield, formerly of Willard, died on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Milestone Assisted Living in Woodruff, WI. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church, in Willard. Rev.     Ann Hannah Kokaly was born in a log house on August 22, 1919 in Willard, WI, to Frank and Antonia (Krizmanich) Kokaly. She was raised on the family farm and received her education in the Willard area. Ann was united in marriage to William M. Boh on July 2, 1941 at Holy Family Catholic Church. They were married for over 63 years. They farmed in the Town of Mead for 51 years, before retiring and moving to Marshfield in June of 1992.

    She had many interests, but especially loved make Potica and Apple Strudel. Everyone loved her Potica and had one for every holiday. She also loved spending time with her family and crocheting. Ann made many afghans and gave them all away.

    Ann is survived by one son: William F. (Mary A.)     Mathilda E. Brown, 85, of Eau Claire passed away Sunday, September 10, 2006, at Sacred Heart Hospital with her family at her bedside.

    She was born August 22, 1921, in Willard, Wisconsin, to Francis and Antonia (Krizmanich) Kokolay.

    Mathilda graduated from Greenwood High School in 1939, and then attended Stevens Point College. After college she worked at the Dodge plant in Chicago as an inspector for B-29 Bomber parts until World War II ended. She later worked for a cleaning service in Chicago for several years.

    Mathilda married Lowell D. Brown on March 22, 1979, in Eau Claire. They lived in Eau Claire for 27 years.

    She was a member of the Council of Catholic Women. Mathilda loved baking, reading, writing, bingo, red roses and dancing, especially the polka. She was a sharp dresser and loved shopping for clothes.

    She had a wonderful zest of life. She loved to go to the movies and eat shrimp at the Red Lobster. Mathilda and Lowell’s greatest joy was spending time together, watching Packer football games and the “Millionaire” game show. Mathildaresided at Mt. Washington in Eau Claire for the last 10 years.

    Mathilda is survived by her husband, Lowell; four daughters, Sharon (Eugene) King of Brawley, Calif., Cynthia (late Dennis) Orbin, and her special friend Milton, of Madison, Marilyn (John) Todd of Brookfield, Ill., and Barb (Dave) Balliett of Augusta; three grandchildren, Alicia Todd, Harold King and Ray Luedtke; two step-grandchildren, Mitch Balliett and March Balliett; two brothers, Darwin and Rudy Kokolay; and two sisters, Ann Boh of Marshfield and Carolyn Feitl of LaGrange Park, Ill.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Frank, Tony and Martin; and two sisters, Sylvia Boh and Mary Kokolay.

    Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, Wis. (phone (715) 832-8301).

    Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2006, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Kaste officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.

    Obituary for William F. Boh
    William F. Boh, age 77 of Arbor Vitae, WI died on Friday, February 14th with his loving family by his side at Lakeshore Assisted Living Center in Lac du Flambeau, WI.

    Bill was born April 13, 1942 in Greenwood, Wi to William & Ann (Kokaly) Boh. Bill attended Rocky Run School, and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1960. He attended 2 years of college at UW River Falls and UW Eau Claire.

    He married Mary Ann Szczech on July 25, 1964 at St Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp. They celebrated their 55th Anniversary in 2019.

    Bill and Mary lived in Marshfield, WI for 38 years. They were devoted parents of their 3 children and supported them over the years. Bill was known for always being willing to help others, especially his family.

    Bill worked at Felker Brothers Corporation for 38 years as a welder and also an over the road semi-driver hauling over-width and over-height loads of stainless steel and black iron tanks.
    He retired from Felkers in 2002.

    After retirement, Bill and Mary moved north to Arbor Vitae and lived at their home on the lake where they still reside. Many winters they would head south with their RV and stay in Gulf Shores, Alabama where they had many friends.

    Bills hobbies were fishing, camping and visiting with family. Bill enjoyed hunting every year with his family. Bill and Mary enjoyed attending and supporting their grandchildren at their many school and sporting events.

    Bill was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather Brother & Friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

    Bill was a honorary member of the Knights of Columbus, Fr John Eisen Council No 1799 from Marshfield.

    Bill is survived by his wife Mary of 55 years, daughter Chris (Richard) Miller of Manitowoc, son Jeffrey (Terri) Boh of Arbor Vitae, daughter Sandi (Rick) Breu of De Pere and is further survived by 8 Grandchildren Elizabeth (Jason) Barrick of Woodville, Jeremy Miller, Adam (Kortney) Miller, and Benjamin Miller of Manitowoc, Alyssa Boh & Brandon Boh of Arbor Vitae, Erin Breu & Rachel Breu of De Pere, and by Great Grandchildren Jackson Barrick & Jacob Barrick of Woodville.

    Bill is also survived by his sister Beverly (Greg) Milnar, sister-in-law Dawn Boh, sisters-in-law Joanne (George) Konieczny, Mona Szczech, Steph (Frank) Kotecki, Carol (John) Szymanski; & many nieces & nephews.

    Bill was preceded in death by his parents; William & Ann, his brother Larry Boh; brothers-in-law Frank Szczech & Joe Szczech, nephews Don Szczech & Greg Kotecki & other relatives.

    Memorial Services for Bill will be held on Wednesday, February 19th at 11:30 am at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a memorial gathering from 10:00 am till time of service.
