Richard M. Malecki, Dorchester, WI, died Saturday, November 20, 1999 at his home.

Richard was born January 17, 1931 at Thorp, WI to Stanley and Frances (Rzetelny) Malecki. He was married August 15, 1970 to Sharon Smith at St. Paul’s Lutheran Chruch, Marshfield, WI. He was a truck driver for the Melvin Companies for 25 years.

Surviving are his wife Sharon Malecki of Dorchester, WI; one son Richard Malecki Jr. of Dorchester, WI; two step children: Terry Taylor and Sharla Rowley, both of Marshfield, WI; 6 step grandchildren and one sister Harriet Hnatko of Wood Dale, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters; Sharon Kennedy and Lorraine Venet.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 23, 1999, 10:30 a.m. at St.
Bernard’s-St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Thorp, WI with Rev. John Puerner officiating. Burial was in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Thorp. Visitation was at the Thorp Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 -8:00 p.m. with a 7:30 Rosary.
