He was born in Poland, Feb. 24, 1852, and came to this country in 1890. Mrs. Rzetelny passed away April 24, 1940, and three sons, Lawrence, Steve and Frank also preceded him in death. He located on a farm near Thorp 47 years ago. Surviving are two sons, Harry of Chicago and Martin of Thorp; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Spchalla, Milwaukee, Mrs. Josephine Konieczny and Mrs. Frances Malecki, of thorp, and Mrs. Anna Cielski and Mrs. Helen Pawlak of Withee, nineteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Francis Piekarski and Rev. R. Rucki for the deceased at St. Hedwig’s Church on Monday, March 10th at 10:00 a.m. Interment was made in the parish cemetery. Six grandsons served as pallbearers, Roy and Malin Konieczny, Richard Malecki and Leonard, Calvin and Steve Pawlak, Jr.
