- OBITUARY for Barbara Ann Miller; date of birth: 1942-03-15; recent residence: Antioch, IL; published by Strang Funeral Home of Antioch. Barbara Ann Miller, 76 years old of Antioch, IL passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital, McHenry, IL. She was born March 15, 1942 in Gilman, WI the daughter of the late Bernard and Helen (Symbal) Gutowski. After just a few years in Gillman, she moved to Antioch where she spent the rest of her life, and on November 19, 1960 she married Leslie Miller at St. Peter Church, Antioch, IL. Barb was a member of St. Peter Church (now Our Lady of the Lakes Parish). She was an avid quilter and member of the Northern Lake County Quilters Guild. She was a proud grandma and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Les; four children, Laura (Kevin) Connelly of Indianapolis, IN, Timothy (Barbara) Miller of Spring Grove, IL, Christopher (Gina) Miller of Lyons, WI, and Charles (Rebecca) Miller of Genoa City, WI; sisters, Jean Benes of Antioch, IL, Delores (Mel) Stillson of Sun City, AZ, and Patricia Serwa of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, Johnathon, Clifford, Gregory, Marilyn, Gabriella, and Victoria; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by twin sons, Matthew and Paul, and brothers, Joseph and Bernard Gutowski. Memorial visitation will be from 4-6PM Friday, December 21, 2018 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83). Memorial services will commence at 6PM Friday. INFO 847-395-4000.
