A. Kulig officiating. A reception at the home of the bride's parents followed the ceremony at the church. The numerous guests present joined heartily in expressing congratulations and best wishes to the newly wedded couple, in which "The Courier" joins.

Wed, Dec 29, 2004 ----Kotecki, Clarence (23 Sept. 1928 - 28 Dec. 2004) ABBOTSFORD -Clarence Kotecki, 76, of Abbotsford, formerly of Riplinger, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, in the Emergency Room of Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Maurina Funeral Home in Owen. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Clarence was born Sept. 23, 1928, in Thorp to Frank and Vernie (Przybylski) Kotecki. He entered the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He married Gertrude Trybula on Nov. 17, 1952. The couple farmed in the Riplinger area until 2003. He also worked at the Riplinger Box Factory and as a milk inspector. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Kotecki of Abbotsford; brother, Frank (Stephanie) Kotecki, Eau Claire; sister, Josephine Sarafin, Thorp; and nieces and nephews.
