Lillian Konieczny
Lillian Konieczny passed away unexpectedly in her
home on Friday, June 4, 2010. She was born April 21 ,1928
to George and Josephine (Borowicz) Burzinski. Lil married
Malin Konieczny on June 22, 1953 in Thorp, Wisconsin.
She was a great gardener and berry picker. She loved
canning and making jams and jellies for family and friends.
Lil was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers:
Frank; Joe, Stanley, Mitchell, and George; two sisters:.
Clara and Alice; and grandson, Matthew Konieczny. She
will be dearly missed by her husband, Malin Konieczny of
Thorp; six children: Karen

Owen, Susan (John) :kiraly,
of Stanley, Ron (Sheila)

Visitation will be held at
the Thorp Funeral Home,
Wednesday, June 9th from 4 - 8 pm. with a rosary at 7 p rn.
A Mass in celebration of Lillian's life will be held at St.
Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church on Thursday, June
LOth at 1O:3el'am., with visitation one hour prior to service.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Alan and, Paul Rinehart;
Daniel and Jeff Tolzmann; Aaron and Alex Kiraly; Andrew
Konieczny and Cody Konieczny. A Christian burial will be
held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Online
