      Edward F. Sado


      Edward F. Sado, 83, passed away quietly, Thursday Dec. 4, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Agnes, nee



      Symbol; his two children Celeste Shaw and Phillip; and his two grandchildren, Tracy and Joel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Anna; his brothers Frank (the late Marie) and Stanley (Arlene), and his sisters Mildred (the late John) and Ann (the late John). Edward served as a Marine in WWII from 1944 to 1946 and saw action in Saipan and Okinawa. After the surrender of Japan, he remained overseas to help with the repatriation of China. Ed also served on the Norridge District 80 school board of 9 years, 31/2 as President. He served for many years on the North and West Side Master Plumber's Association as recording secretary. Edward was a member of Local 130. Funeral Monday 10:30 a.m. from The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Rd. (at Prospect), Itasca to Holy Ghost Church, Mass 11 am. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
