  Obituary (http://www.maurinaschilling.com/memsol.cgi?user_id=1395188#.VA8gDvBX6a4.facebook) Virginia Ann Zaidel December 12, 1955 - September 6, 2014 Virginia Ann Zaidel, age 58, of Owen passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Father Janusz Kowalski will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 4:00 until 6:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Virginia was born on December 12, 1955 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Richard and Harriet (Judycki) Wrobel, Sr. Her family moved to the area in 1969 and she graduated from Thorp High School in 1974. On October 26, 1974, Virginia was united in marriage to Robert Zaidel at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. She worked at numerous restaurants in the area, retiring from Rondi's Country Cafe in Withee. Virginia also volunteered with the Girl Scouts, serving as troop leader since 1985. She was involved with Daisy's, Brownies, and adult leaders and won the "highest" rank in Girl Scouts. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting and counted cross-stitching. Most importantly, Virginia loved spending time with her family. Virginia is survived by husband of almost 40 years, Robert Zaidel of Owen; her parents, Richard and Harriet Wrobel, Sr. of Withee; her sister, Christine (David) Konieczny of Medford and her brother, Richard Wrobel, Jr. She is further survived by nine nieces and nephews, 18 great-nieces and great-nephews; two sisters-in-law, Carol (Richard) Rode of Withee and Nancy Bender of Withee. They will all miss her dearly. She was proceeded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Jean Zaidel
