She was born to Frances (Ciolkosz) Slowiak and Anton Slowiak on March 6, 1912. Anna is survived by one son, Jack, of Stanley; two daughters: Janice (Mark) Fonk of River Falls, WI and Colleen (Richard) Bergevin of Chippewa Falls, WI; three brothers: Vince (Mary) Slowiak of Thorp, WI, John (Alice) Slowiak of Prk ridge, IL and Ted (Dorothy) Slowiak of Niles, IL; three sisters: Julie Pober of Indiana and Theresa and Vickie Slowiak of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren: Tim (Eva) Bergevin of Chippewa Falls, WI and Melissa (Tom) Werner of Elk Mound, WI; four great-grandchildren: Brandon, Joe and Jeanie Werner and Jordon Bergevin. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; three brothers: Alex, Henry and Walter Slowiak and three sisters: Wanda Cheuey, Louise St. Lawrence and Mary Dubicki. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Stanley with visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
